Description and Instructions

SBL Racing – American Prototype Championship

The American Prototype Championship is a multiclass championship featuring LMP2 ELMS and LMP3, with up to 38 drivers competing across five American circuits:

  • Laguna Seca (15/10);
  • Daytona (29/10);
  • Long Beach (12/11);
  • Road Atlanta (26/11);
  • Sebring (10/12).

Every driver races for themselves, with individual championships for both classes.
Each event follows a compact format, with 25 minutes of Free Practice, 10 minutes of Qualifying and a 60-minute Race.
Setups are open, tyre strategy is free and realistic damage is enabled. The races will also feature different weather conditions throughout the season.
The championship uses a drop-score system, meaning each driver's worst result of the season is removed from the final standings. This allows drivers to recover from a bad race, a DNF or an absence without automatically losing their championship fight.
Fair racing is at the heart of APC. Drivers are expected to race hard but responsibly, respecting other competitors and the decisions of the Race Officials. A dedicated penalty system and post-race stewarding are in place to deal with incidents and maintain a consistent standard throughout the season.
Participation is completely free, but joining the official Discord server is mandatory. Discord is the main communication channel for race information, announcements, regulations and stewarding.
Whether you're here to fight for the championship, battle for podiums or simply enjoy some competitive multiclass racing, you're welcome on the grid.

See you on track.
