Nothing up front and no monthly fee. You keep 95% of every pledge and SimGrid's 5% share runs the platform. On yearly Community Pro you keep 100%. Stripe's card fee and its 0.7% subscription fee also come out of each pledge. Nothing else.
You're the seller, so VAT is yours, the same as any Stripe account. We handle refunds and disputes, and take the cost back from your Stripe balance.
Each pledge lands in your Stripe account as soon as it is paid. Stripe pays it into your bank on the schedule you choose, with no payout fee.
No. Stripe signs you up as an individual or a business, your choice.

Yes. Existing supporters keep the price they joined at until they cancel or switch tier.

No. Perks give access and recognition only. Nothing affects results, penalties or stewarding.
Any community, on any plan, once it meets four criteria: at least 3 months on SimGrid, at least 6 races with published results in the last 90 days, at least half its grid slots filled, and at least 100 followers. When your community qualifies, the Enable button appears in your community settings.
