• Please use the same driving standards expected in LMU Official races.
• All drivers must be members of the ARL Discord. This is where you will receive race-day announcements, schedule updates, rule updates, ticket notifications, and your appropriate driver role.
• Your Discord nickname must match your in-game name so admins and stewards can easily identify you.
• There is zero tolerance for abusive or disrespectful language in Discord, in-game chat, or DMs.
• Public callouts are prohibited. If you have an issue with another driver, use the incident ticket system rather than arguing publicly.
DROP ROUND
This championship includes 1 drop round. Your lowest-scoring race of the season will be removed from your championship points total.
CAR SELECTION
We allow car or car class changes up to a day before the start of a series without any penalty. However, if you wish to switch after the series has started, you will forfeit all points accumulated up to that point in the series.
ON-TRACK CONDUCT
Please be especially careful and patient on Lap 1, particularly into Turn 1. A race cannot be won in the first corner, but it can certainly be lost there.
It is the chasing/overtaking driver’s responsibility to complete an overtake safely.
Drivers must leave sufficient racing room when another car has established meaningful overlap.
Any front-tire overlap with the rear tire of the defending car is considered sufficiently alongside and racing space must be given.
BLUE FLAGS
Drivers being lapped must behave predictably and safely allow cars on the lead lap to pass.
Do not make sudden or unnecessary moves. The responsibility remains on both drivers to complete the pass safely.
INCIDENT REPORTS & APPEALS
The ticket and appeal system will open 12 hours after the race.
This cooldown period gives everyone time to review incidents before submitting a report.
When submitting a ticket, please provide:
• Video from your POV of the incident
• A brief description of what happened
Drivers are permitted to withdraw from any event in simgrid, without penalty.
Drivers who do not withdraw from a race in SimGrid will incur an automatic 5 point penalty.
Drivers who miss more than 2 races during the season, without withdrawing, will be automatically disqualified.
