Turbo Turtle Racing League Rules General Rules Racing can get intense, and emotions can run high—that’s part of the competition. However, respect for others must always come first. Keep all on-track actions fair and within the rules, and avoid reckless or unsportsmanlike behavior. This respect extends beyond the track as well. In Discord chat and voice channels, communicate in a friendly and constructive manner. No insults, harassment, or toxic behavior will be tolerated. Disagreements are fine, but handle them maturely and calmly. Remember: we’re here to compete, improve, and enjoy the experience together. Attendance Rules If a Driver can not attend a Race you have to Withdraw from the event on Simgrid or at least let the Admins know through Discord. If a Driver doesn't show up for 3 Races in a row without Withdrawing from Simgrid or Discord The Driver will be Removed from the Championship. Should a Driver Attend less than 50% of the Races of a Season The Driver will be Removed from the Championship. League Settings Anti-Lock-Braking OFF (Only Affects Hypercars. GT3 Cars will still be Normal with ABS) Auto-shift ON Brake-Help OFF Driving Line ON Stability-Control OFF Steering-Help OFF Auto-Clutch ON League Format 1. The Format is found in the Channel #event-format 2. The Calendar will start at 5 Races but increase the Number of Races going into future seasons. 3. To determine the Calendar of the next season the whole Community will be allowed to vote on Tracks near the end of the current season. 4. Tyres and Fuel consumption will be on 1x On-Track Rules The following rules must be strictly adhered to. Any breaches will be reviewed by the stewards/Admins and if necessary penalties will be applied. Qualifying All Cars will be on Track at the same time so the following rules apply: 1. No Impeding or Blocking of Cars on a Hot Lap. That means driving off the Racing Line if possible and giving way to any car approaching. Also be aware of Faster Cars and no sudden change of direction. 2. When a Driver is on a Hotlap and decides to abandon it or is more than 0.500 seconds down on the time has to give way to faster Cars Race Everybody wants to have fun so have to respect each other on Track and to ensure that following Rules apply during the Race: General 1. Any form of Driving unnecessary slowly, Driving in the wrong direction or Stopping on Track is not allowed. (Exceptions: Damaged Car, Hardware Issues, Turning the Car, etc) If unclear the Incident will be reviewed by the Stewards/Admins Overtaking and Defending 1. No Divebombing without control of the Car or no Chance of making the Corner at least alongside. Control of the car or a Pass is ensured if the Driver Attacking/Overtaking can make the Corner alongside or before the opponent without causing Damage or slamming into the Opponent. (Minor Contact is allowed but should be avoided if possible) If needed Incidents will be Looked at by the Stewards/Admins. 2. Neither the attacking or the Defending car are allowed to force the Opponent off track. !!ALL THE TIME YOU HAVE TO LEAVE A SPACE!! ~ F. Alonso 3. The Defending Driver has the Right to do one Defensive move per Corner. Changing direction or Lanes is only allowed once and has to be done BEFORE the Braking zones. 4. Moving under Braking is not allowed 5. Intentional Contact will be penalised and can lead to Championship Disqualification. 6. All Overtakes or Defensive Moves must take Place within Track Limits. Rejoining 1. If a Driver wants to Rejoin this has to be done safely. That means no other Car or Driver is impacted during the Process. If Necessary the Driver off the Track has to let oncoming traffic by and don't force the Rejoin. Blue Flags 1. If a Car is Lapped within the Same Class the lapped car has to move aside within the next 3 Laps. But as soon as there is an opportunity. 2.The Lapping car has to be within 0.3 Seconds before going for a Move. 3. If a Hypercar is about to lap a GT3 car the GT3 car is advised to stay on the “normal” Racing Line the Faster Class has to find a way to make a safe overtake. 4. The Lapped car is not allowed to change directions unexpectedly and/or Defend the Lapping Cars moves. 5. No Lapping car is allowed to force the Lapped car off Track or go for a Risky move. 6. Already Lapped Cars are allowed to Unlap themselves. The Rules stay the same. 7. Hypercars have to be within 0.3 Seconds before Lapping a slower Class and are not allowed to Dive in the Corner. If the Requirements of a safe Lapping are not completed the Hypercar has to slot in Behind the Lapped Car for the Following Corner(s) and make a safe overtake after the Corner. We advise to be aware of the situation and adjust the Lapping Spots or the way of the Lapping if needed. Great Spots to let a Faster car go through are at the end of Straights just Lift Early and let the Car pass. Nobody wants to lose time so be respectful and clever while Blue Flag situations Penalties 1.
