Ring Rumble Series - Brands Hatch - Mazda MX-5

🏁 Mazda MX-5 Cup 🏁

On 14 September, drivers will compete in a special Ring Rumble Series event behind the wheel of the Mazda MX-5 at Brands Hatch Indy. A lightweight car, modest power and evenly matched performance mean one thing: close racing, frequent side-by-side battles and no room for error.
The Mazda MX-5 rewards smooth driving, carrying speed through corners and getting strong exits onto the straights. With such small differences between the cars, consistency, smart use of the slipstream and staying calm in close battles can make the difference.
The event will have a more relaxed atmosphere than the main 237League championships, but the racing standards remain unchanged. Every driver is expected to maintain control of their car, respect their rivals and avoid behaviour that could create unnecessary danger on track.

🧭 Qualifying Rules

• Drivers on a timed lap have priority.
• Cars may only overtake during qualifying when the driver ahead clearly allows the faster car through or leaves the track.
• Drivers are advised to create a safe gap before starting a timed lap to avoid unnecessarily interfering with each other.
