Welcome drivers to ARL Grand Enduro Season 2. This will be a 5 round, driver-swap team championship. Rounds will be held every 3 weeks and teams of 1-3 drivers are allowed to sign up. X-box drivers, please message an admin when signing up so you can be coded in the server correctly. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, based on shipping.
Races will be 4 hours featuring 2 mandatory stops for tires. 3hr pit window for mandatory stops(pit window opens 30min into the race and closes 30 min before the finish) 50 minute driver stint timer will be in place each race. This season features one 4x time multiplier round worth double points! 2 bonus points will be awarded to the fastest lap each round. 1 drop round for every team this season. Real-world weather forecast used for each round(Accuweather).
🗣️Mandatory Drivers Meeting: Hosted on ARL discord 10 minutes before official server opens. Failure to attend drivers meetings can lead to removal from the series
🛞60min Practice Session: Open practice session. Only 10 sets of tires for the entire race weekend
⏱️20min Open Qualifying: Any and all drivers on a team are allowed to qualify. Please set a proper gap to the cars around you before starting a hotlap. If leaving the pits late, do not release onto the track until a clear gap is presented. If not on a hotlap, please stay off the racing line. Do not pass another car attempting a hotlap during qualifying.
🏎️240min Race: 3hr pit window with 2 mandatory stops for tires each race. 50min driver stint timer. You must drive through the pits or complete a pitstop to reset the stint timer.
Blue flags do not have to give up the racing line. We ask that you do not defend into the corners and allow room if possible or a slight lift down the straights to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flagged cars. If you are a blue flagged car, you are allowed to unlap yourself at anytime in the race. Common sense is the best tool in these situations.
Always take it easy going through the first few corners on lap 1. Hold your brakes if involved in an incident. Stream or record your quali and race in case you’re involved in an incident. Please remember to keep a cool head, even post race. No driver bashing in the chat. Incident Reporting will open 12 hours after the race on ARL discord.
