Please note: the races shown on this event are NOT an event you need to attend. It is only there because SimGrid requires a race to be attached to the event. our server is live 24/7 and recording ALL driver lap data. do not withdraw - we will remove the events daily.
You can join the server and complete your 15 qualifying laps whenever you want, at any time, before the deadline (5th october 2026).
If you are signed up and complete your 15 laps before 5 October, you will be placed into your correct licence tier and will be able to race in Season 4.
If you complete your 15 qualifying laps after 5 October, you will need to request your licence once your laps have been saved. Staff will then issue your licence so you can join the active Season 4 events.
Season 4 entries close after Week 7. The final 3 weeks of the season are locked down for new licence holders and new entries.
In simple terms: complete your 15 laps by 5 October and your licence will be issued as part of the normal process. Complete them after 5 October and you will need to request your licence.
No 15 laps = no Season 4 licence.
HOW IT WORKS
- Sign up at ifwl.net first. This is what grants you the correct roles in the IFWL Discord - skip this step and the rest won't work.
- Join the IFWL Discord using the roles you've just been granted (by registering to this event), and complete your registration there.
- Head to the IFWL Licence Centre and complete your licence. This is where your laps actually get tracked and counted against your name, so don't skip it - think of ifwl.net as the door, and the Licence Centre as the main event.
- Set your best laps. You've got the full 3 weeks to get your times down on the Licence Obtainment server - jump on whenever suits you.
- Final week: sign-ups close. Once the window shuts, staff review everyone's laps and sort drivers into their respective category (Rookie, Beginner, Amateur or Pro) based on pace.
- Check Available Races. Once you've been sorted, your allocated Season 4 race series will appear as a private invite link under the Available Races tab - this link is only visible once sorting is complete, so if you don't see it yet, sit tight.
