Open Qualifying
We have elected to use an open qualifying system to better replicate real life racing. You can drive tactically or do your own thing - however, you must not impede or obstruct another driver's lap in any way. If you are ‘on a lap’ you are not required to yield for another driver if they catch you. We recommend using your outlap to find yourself some clean air to complete laps without being compromised.
Qualifying Format
The first 15 minutes of the session are for GT3 cars only. You may start another quick lap as long as the timer has not hit 15:00 remaining. Any laps started after 15:00 remaining must be aborted. If you set a time that began too late you must not go to the grid and must start from the pit lane. The second 15 minutes of the session are solely for GTP cars. They must not leave the pits until there is 15:00 remaining on the timer. GTP drivers may wait at the end of the pit lane if they wish. Please be aware on your outlaps that there may be GT3 cars on their final attempts and you must not obstruct them. Pass only on straights.
