League principles

  • Orderly, fair, and respectful competition; clean racing is mandatory
  • Inclusive environment; harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.

Eligibility and entries

  • Open to registered team members who meet minimum age and platform requirements. All races for Season 1 will be conducted on the PS5, the NASCAR 25 video game.
  • Each driver is responsible for their account and internet connection

Race format and schedule

  • Practice, qualifying, and the race window are published in advance.
  • Races run to 50% (per briefing); standard start procedures apply.
  • Cautions for most courses will be set to Strict unless otherwise announced.

Vehicle and setup rules

  • Cup class and custom setups are allowed; no prohibited performance mods unless stated.

Conduct and safety

  • No intentional wrecking, excessive blocking, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
  • Respect others’ cars and equipment; avoid reckless aggression that counters the spirit of the league
  • Race Control will be reviewing all issues that are captured on video.

Penalties and appeals

  • Penalty ladder:
  • Warning → Back of the grid penalty for next race → Drive-through penalty served the next race →Time penalty or place reduction at the end of the race → Individual Point Deduction/Team Point Reduction→ Disqualification → Suspension and Expulsion.
  •  Penalties are not required to be issued in a specific order or progression. The Commissioner and Race Control reserve the authority to issue the penalty deemed appropriate based on the severity of the incident, the driver's actions, prior conduct, and any aggravating or mitigating circumstances
  • Each incident will be evaluated on its own merits, and penalties may range from a warning to more severe disciplinary action without the requirement of prior lesser penalties.

 Race Incident Classification

  • Racing Incident – neither driver primarily at fault.
  • Minor Avoidable Contact – one driver made an error in judgment.
  • Reckless Driving – excessive risk, divebombs, forcing impossible situations, repeated offenses.
  • Intentional Wrecking – deliberate contact
  • The MNRL will also use progressive discipline; the more incidents your drivers are involved in during the season, the harsher the discipline will be.
  • Captains are the race stewards; we will handle incident penalties, and evidence such as replays may be requested. We will use AI to determine faults and to issue penalties. League Commissioner has the final say on penalties
  • The appeals process is available within a defined window with submitted evidence.
  • Each team will be able to submit their evidence and an account of what the incident was from their point of view.

Communications and etiquette

  • Use respectful language; no harassment or hate speech.
  • In-game chat/voice for race craft and strategy only unless permitted otherwise.
  • Please keep personal talk and especially talk about politics to a minimum.

Race day procedures

  • Listen to pre-race trailer, arrive early, join the lobby, and follow the posted warm-up, qualifying, and grid procedures.

Qualifying Format

  • Each team will receive two qualifying opportunities prior to race day:
  • 1. Session 1 – Practice/Initial Qualifying Session
  • 2. Session 2 – Official Qualifying Session

o    Teams may choose to submit and keep either their Session 1 or Session 2 time. Teams are not required to use their second session if satisfied with their first result.

  • Once a team submits its final qualifying time to the Commissioner, that time becomes the team's official qualifying result.

Qualifying Settings

  • Tire Wear: 2x
  •  Individual Qualifying: 3 laps
  • Team Qualifying: 4 laps
  • All qualifying runs must be completed using approved league settings.

  • Teams may submit either their Session 1 or Session 2 result as their official qualifying time.
  • Teams are prohibited from publicly sharing qualifying results before the official starting grid is released.
  • Teams must retain video footage of all qualifying attempts.
  • Video evidence must be available upon request for audits or grievance reviews.

Audits

  • To maintain competitive integrity, the league will randomly select one team each week for a qualifying audit.
  • Selected teams must provide qualifying footage upon request. Failure to provide requested footage may result in the qualifying time being disallowed and may lead to additional penalties at the discretion of league administration.

Qualifying Order Release

  • The Commissioner will publish the official qualifying order within 24 hours of race time.
  • Grievance Period
  • After the qualifying order is posted:
  • Team Captains will have until 6 hours before race time to file a qualifying grievance.
  • Grievances must include supporting evidence and a clear explanation of the concern.
  • Once the grievance period closes, the qualifying order will become official.
  • Sportsmanship
